Hannah Almon Matangos

Hannah is a community-engaged arts worker, fiber artist, and singer-songwriter based in the hills & valleys of rural Central Pennsylvania. From her upbringing in Lancaster County, PA, to her years in the DMV, Hannah has been rooted in her local arts, music, and theatre scenes. At Art of the Rural, Hannah assists cross-regional programming logistics and shapes storytelling through Broadsheet, the Art of the Rural Podcast, and social media. In 2026, Hannah is serving on the Empowering Rural Arts & Culture Pathway committee for AFTACON and as a co-leader of the Arts & Culture Track for Radically Rural's 2026 Summit.

Hannah is also the Founder & CEO of Calliope Creative Consulting, and she teaches as adjunct faculty with the Penn State College of Art & Architecture, University Park & World Campus.
