On June 24, join for “The Shared Table: How Curry, Community and Kentucky Came Together”.
We will meet at Jot Indian Restaurant at 1709 Monmouth Street, Newport, KY 41071. After introductions, we will share appetizers while hearing from Amandeep Singh, whose family owns the restaurant. We will hear about his journey, as a child, from India immigrating to the US and eventually opening the restaurant in Newport. After the conservation, stick around to visit with other RUXers and their supporters while we split a few Indian delectables. Food and water is covered by RUX. If you want to order beer, drinks, or wine that is to be paid for by the individual .
Please RSVP for this event by June 22nd. Please let us know if you have any dietary needs. We can accommodate, so don’t let that stop you!
