Making It Last: A Relational + Generational Civic Future

With New Civic Future, for our second Civic Power Hour, where we’ll explore how to “make it last” by committing to relationships and generational work.

The session will begin with rapid pitches from three practitioners and signatories of the “Invitation to a new civic future” letter, including:

  • Savannah Barrett of Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange
  • Kate Hanisian of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati
  • Richard Young of CivicLex

It’ll then be followed by interactive breakout groups where participants will have the chance to connect with one another, deepen their engagement around the relational and generational principles, and ask, “How can we support one another to do this work better?” Whether you’re newly energized to renewing civic life in your community, or have been doing the work for decades, we invite you to be a part of this session.
