At AFTACON 2026, join artists, administrators, and advocates from across the nation to learn, strategize, and mobilize for the future of arts & culture and build momentum that extends far beyond four days.
The Empowering Rural Arts & Culture Pathway is planned and facilitated by a nationally-distributed team including some familiar faces: Spillway Fellow Joseph J. Allen (Manoomin Arts Initiative); our Programs Associate Hannah Almon Matangos; Krysta Aina (Arts Council for Wyoming County); and Dr. Astrid Kaemmerling (The Educational Foundation of America). The pathway includes panels, hands-on sessions, resource sharing, and an Incubator Day planned in conjunction with the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center.
Stipends are available via AFTACON to assist with travel.
